Let the People Come!

Alrighty Folks!
The end is drawing to a close of registration for ScrapFest Twenty Ten and I just want to remind y'all that ANYONE you refer to ScrapFest gets YOU extra chances to win some cool prizes.

This year we'll be giving *bonus* tickets for every person you refer to ScrapFest. And this year, you get to choose which prizes you're interested in. Perhaps you'd like your chance to win a CRICUT Expressions (oh yah baby! The big one!) or you'd like extra scrap supplies. We've got baskets-o-plenty and some options for the not-so-into-scrappin-just-here-for-the-good-time group too! It's all up to you where you take your chances. And I am pretty stoked about the fun stuff we have to give away. I think you will be too!

So, talk it up. Invite YOUR peeps. This is all about bringing your own posse for a great time for YOU. We'd love to have everyone you like :)

Get Your Game Face On!

(I'm not above pressuring you to register, Toni, by posting old pictures of you!)

Alright Folks . . . Time is ticking. ONE MONTH from today we will be whooping it up at the start of ScrapFest 2010 and can I tell you I am SOOO excited! I've been talking with some of the "old timers" and they've given me some FABULOUS ideas about giveaways and how to make it the best ScrapFest ever. I mean Ev-VER!

Just some housekeeping items:
CHECK the who's coming list to make sure I spelled your name right. You can leave a comment if you want me to change your name . . . but please let me know now since THAT will be what shows up on your nametag (which you'll WANT to wear, especially for the 25% off EVERYTHING discount we get at Pebbles in My Pocket IF you wear your so-spelled-right nametag). And it'd be awkward if we keep calling you Janice when your name is Janet.

Also, my super cool friend Belinda and her cool friend Melinda (I mean, HELLO!? Their names rhyme . . . how cool is that!?) are looking for a couple of wonderful ladies who want to room with them. And Belinda even told me she'd bring treats . . . who wouldn't want to room with her? Message me you're interested and I'll email you and her with your numbers so you can work out that sitch-e-a-tion.

Alright. Now. SINCE we are all REELING from the realization that ScrapFest is only a month away I have a challenge for you . . . organize your pictures. That's right. Get them printed this week. That's your starting place. And if you're not scrapping . . . start making your list of "things I want to do while everyone else is scrapbooking." You have a week to get this done. And I'm going to do it . . . I bet I find some winners that I totally forgot I had . . . because 2007 (which is HOW FAR BEHIND I AM~~~sheesh~~~) was a good year . . . I think :)
Oh, and pass the word along. Registration is open until the beginning of February!

Save Garth

So, you MIGHT be on this website looking to register for THE most fun event of 2010 (yeh, I'm confident to say that even though it's only in February) and this IS the place to do that. However, before you pay your $70.00, I'd like to encourage you to try to WIN a ScrapFest registration at the Save Garth auction found here.

Why would you want to do that? I moved to Las Vegas as a young gal and made some wonderful friends since I have lived here. The best part of Vegas (well, okay, there's a lot of good parts, but ONE of the best . . . ) is that after living here awhile, circles of friendships cross over and it's not too long before it seems everyone knows everyone. The Abbott family was in my LDS stake and their kids went to seminary and high school with me and my sister and even my brothers. When people talk about "good people," the Abbotts are them. Good peeps, all the way around. Their influence and love has been spread wide and generously. I have been blessed for knowing them.

Last week I was told that Daddy Garth Abbott has been diagonsed with a VERY aggressive form of Breast Cancer {IBS-inflammatory Breast Cancer}. Time is of the essence when it comes to his treatment and he needs to start chemo therapy AS SOON AS POOSIBLE. Garth is uninsured and does not have the means to pay for his treatments. Sadly, in our country, this means NO treatment. Garth's daughter-in-law (who, interestingly/circle-crossingly enough, was a new teacher when I was AND who I seemed to ALWAYS bump into at the Dr. when I was having my babies!) has started an auction to raise monies for Garth's treatment and I would like to help (and I am hoping you would too.)

I'm not sure what the auction will start at, but maybe you can score it for cheaper than the $70.00 if you just click on the button here. And IF you score it for more than $70.00, then you'll be blessed with not only the good times at ScrapFest, but knowing you helped a most wonderful family.

If you want to make sure you're registered, go ahead and click on the right bar where it says PAY HERE, but then check out Rachelle's blog to see what else you might want to bid on to benefit Garth. Thanks everyone!

I'm not sure when ScrapFest will be put on the auction block, but I know my sister's also donating her famous, scrumptious cinnamon rolls, so it's worth checking back there OFTEN!
